Total Cooking Time: 35 min

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup oil palm oil or peanut oil
  • 1½ cup tomato sauce
  • ½ cup onion puree
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp mixed spices (ground pepper, ground ginger, cumin, garlic powder, cayenne pepper)
  • 1 Tbsp ground dry smoked shrimp/1 Maggi seasoning cube

Steps:

  1. Put a skillet over a medium-high heat
  2. Pour in the oil and let heat for 2 min
  3. Add the tomato sauce
  4. Cook for 15 min, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking
  5. Stir in onion, salt, and spices
  6. Cook for 10 min, half covered
  7. Add ground shrimp/Maggi cube
  8. Cook 10 min, still stirring to avoid sticking
  9. Serve with French baguette, beans, atassi, white rice, fried yam, etc.
