Ingredients:
- ½ cup oil palm oil or peanut oil
- 1½ cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup onion puree
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp mixed spices (ground pepper, ground ginger, cumin, garlic powder, cayenne pepper)
- 1 Tbsp ground dry smoked shrimp/1 Maggi seasoning cube
Steps:
- Put a skillet over a medium-high heat
- Pour in the oil and let heat for 2 min
- Add the tomato sauce
- Cook for 15 min, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking
- Stir in onion, salt, and spices
- Cook for 10 min, half covered
- Add ground shrimp/Maggi cube
- Cook 10 min, still stirring to avoid sticking
- Serve with French baguette, beans, atassi, white rice, fried yam, etc.
